Blaze Publishing has launched iShoot, an interactive shooting magazine covering all aspects of shotgun shooting in the UK and abroad.

iShoot Masthead_Orange

Edited by Peter Carr, the editor-in-chief of Sporting Rifle and Modern Gamekeeping and director-presenter of theshootingshow.tviShoot is a monthly publication free to read online or as a download on tablet devices.

Features in a packed first issue include pheasant drives at the Beckerings Park estate, grouse at Farndale Moor, driven mouflon and boar in Germany, pigeon shooting with Geoff Garrod, wildfowling in Orkney and South African wildfowling. The title also includes gun reviews, kit tests, event previews and special interest features.

Where iShoot stands out from other magazines is its interactivity. Features are supplemented by videos, picture galleries and bonus content. The title also boasts a modern design suited for online viewing, rather than simply being a print magazine that’s been put online.

Peter Carr said: “iShoot represents the next generation of shooting content. There is very little on the market to compare with it, and as such, the consumer readership should take to the product very quickly.

“The iShoot team and I have the knowledge and experience to make this a success – it shares common ground with other Blaze projects such as Modern Gamekeeping and The Shooting Show. But crucially, it’s the first shotgun-specific title Blaze has launched – so it’s also new territory for us, which means heaps of all-new content to get the readers and viewers hooked.

“As it’s available on browser and tablet, it can be read at home or on the go. And since it’s free to download, we’re predicting a wide readership from the off, which will only increase as we publish more issues and build the title’s reputation.”
