This weekend sees the 40th BASC Gamekeepers’ Fair taking place at Catton Park, Derbyshire.
From 16-17 April, the traditional sporting estate of Catton Park will play host to the fair, which showcases the best in gamekeeping, shooting and fieldsports, with a packed programme of displays and demos.
Sponsored by leading names such as Browning, BSA, Eley Hawk, Lintran, Promatic and Bush Wear, to name but a few, this year the show is celebrating its 40th anniversary and organisers hope it will be the “biggest-ever gathering of gamekeepers in the UK.”
Exhibitors are also looking forward to commemorating the auspicious anniversary at Catton Park this weekend: “This year’s BASC Gamekeepers Fair is particularly special because it is the 40th anniversary fair,” said Charlie Shepherd, sales director at The Shooting Party. “The first game fair that I ever attended was a BASC Gamekeepers’ Fair at Packington in the 1980s. This fair always impresses with the quality of exhibitors, the arena shows and the variety of terrific items for sale. The Shooting Party’s team is looking forward to meeting existing customers and welcoming new ones to our stand.”
The UK Game Fair team will also be at the BASC Gamekeepers’ Fair, distributing free copies of the latest issue of Game Fair Gazette and spreading the word about fieldsports’ new flagship event. If you want to find out more about the event, or discuss booking your stand space, visit the stand in the Gamekeeping Hospitality Area.
