NSRAThe National Small-bore Rifle Association (NSRA) is looking for a wholesale business manager for Bisley Sports Wholesale, based at the Lord Roberts Centre.

The role is permanent full time, for an immediate start, managing the wholesale sports business with the help of one sales assistant. The job description includes the picking and processing of sales orders, ordering of stock and the efficient administration of the order processing system. Key duties include the packing and sending of goods to customers, liaising with suppliers, ordering stock, receiving deliveries and managing appropriate stock levels to fulfill customer orders on time.

The role also requires some travelling to visit existing customers and the development of new business relationships in order to increase the range and selection of products and to broaden marketing opportunities. The post holder will also arrange regular stock-takes to ensure stock levels are maintained and that the stock management system is up to date with correct reporting at all times.

It will also be necessary to arrange batch tests as required for key ammunition suppliers.

The business is open from 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday. Knowledge of target shooting sports would be beneficial; however ‘in house’ training will be given. This is a varied job and involves receiving and unpacking some heavy equipment, along with the management of a computerised sales system.
