At the Zeiss stand we had an opportunity to get a closer look at the new Victory V8 4.8-35×60 riflescope, which completes the much-anticipated V8 line-up. This high-power scope joins the 1.1-8×30, 1.8-14×50 and 2.8-20×56 models already in existence, meaning there’s something for everyone in the range – and while this is obviously something of a long-range scope, the wide magnification range means it can be dialled down for hunting too. The scope features the BDC Competition bullet drop compensator and boasts 92 per cent light transmission and a 60mm lens. A large exit pupil helps target acquisition.
