gfta-logoThe Game Fairs Trade Association (GFTA) has announced that RBS Events, organiser of the South Yorkshire Game Fair, and the newly established UK Game Fair have joined the Association.

The GFTA aims to represent the traders, media and groups involved in outdoor country fairs and shows, and was founded by Roger Williams.

On announcing the new Association members, Mr Williams said: “Richard Brook, the founder of RBS Events, shares the vision of the GFTA in that it wishes to act as a force to assist the continuation of game fairs and shows. Representing both exhibitors and organisers, the GFTA seeks to promote fair and economic pricing of stand space and entry tickets to maximise the success of country shoes for exhibitors and organisers alike.

“The GFTA is especially pleased to have come to terms with the UK Game Fair which will offer members of the GFTA discounts from the cost of exhibition space, savings on electrical supply and discounted advertising in the Game Fair Gazette newspaper.  These savings, available exclusively to GFTA members, are for many, a multiple of annual GFTA subscription rates.”
