The IPC Media Shooting Industry Awards 2014 winners were announced this month, acknowledging the Shooting Industry’s achievements throughout the year.Shooting_awards_30th_may_main_image

The celebration, now in it’s 19th year, returned to Mercure Brandon Hall near Coventry in May to reveal a host of award winners.

Musto claimed Best New Clothing Product with the Fenland Packaway Jacket, while Seeland International took Best New Footwear with the Estate 18″ Vibram 5mm Boot. Best Cartridges went to Gamebore, Black Gold Game Wood Wad (Game), Fiocchi UK with the FBLACK (Clay), and Ruag Ammotec UK with the Norma .243 Win 100g SP (Rifle). The Kronch Pemmican Bar took Best  Gundog Product, and optics awards were taken by Ruag once again, for the Kahles Helia 5 scope, and Swarovski with the  SLC 10×42 binoculars.

The Best Accessory award went to John Rothery (Wholesale) for the Primos Trigger Stick “Jim Shockey” Deluxe Tripod, and Best Website went to Skinners Pet Foods. Best Gun Shop went to William Powell, while Best Shooting Ground was taken by E J Churchill.

Best Shotgun RRP under £1,500: Sportsman Gun Centre Revo – K200 Wildfowl

Best Shotgun RRP between £1,500 and £14,999: joint winners Anglo Spanish Imports – Rizzini RB EB and Browning International – Browning B725 Grade 5

Best Shotgun RRP over £15,000: Boxall & Edmiston 12 bore square side plated OU.
