Shooting exhibitors are flocking to a new fair, taking place for the first time on 4-5 October.
The South Yorkshire Game Fair, held at Doncaster Racecourse and run by RSB Events, is set to target shooters specifically, with an airgun range hosted by ATEO and a clay line, as well as presences from BASC, Pass It On and other organisations.
Already Night Master, the maker of infrared and hunting lamps, has signed up as a main sponsor – and well-known companies including Blaser, Hull Cartridge, Zeiss and Thomas Jacks will be in attendance.
Richard Brook, the show organiser, said he had decided to create the fair to support his shooting passion.
He added: “Night Master was the obvious choice for us, since it’s a Yorkshire-based company that has made a big impact in the hunting world. Much like Night Master, I also aim to make a positive impact with the first South Yorkshire Game Fair.”
Held within a spacious indoor venue, the fair will also feature a daily shooting competition, a ‘try before you buy’ service and a 50-yard ‘dark room’ for Night Master’s demonstrations.
