Business duo and husband and wife team, Wayne and Katherine Gibbard, have purchased the gun and country clothing shop in Milton Keynes.
With no interruption to the usual working schedule (meaning all workers will be kept on) the torch will be passed to the new owners. The Gibbards anticipate a seamless transfer for customers and suppliers, and will put into action their plan to enhance customers’ shooting experience with R&K Stockcraft. A newly launched website for clothing and accessories reveals their new business plan, as Katherine commented: “I am really excited that we have the opportunity to build on the success of R&K Stockcraft and start a new chapter in the business.” Customers can also follow the business on social media sites such as Twitter (@rkstockcraft) and Facebook, which will be updated with details of promotions or special offers.
With this in mind, they have announced their first open day at Sherington Shooting Ground in Milton Keynes on 14 June 2014. Customers can come and ‘try before they buy’ to check out the stock.
Passing the business to the Gibbards are brothers Mike and Andy King, owners of the shop for 31 years, who explained that the time was right for them to move on and that they are delighted the business will be left in the hands of such an experienced team.
