Organisers of the South Yorkshire Shooting Show & Game Fair (last year called the South Yorkshire Game Fair) have announced that exhibitor bookings are open for the 2015 show.
Now in its second year, the show is set to consolidate on a successful first outing – there’s been a reported 97 per cent rate of rebooking or intending to rebook. The 2015 show will take place on 3-4 October at the Doncaster Racecourse and Exhibition Centre. Night Master remains as a sponsor and is joined by Swillington Shooting Supplies.
Organiser Richard Brook said: “The show can only get bigger and better in the years to come.
“We have had a lot of new interest and bookings already, which has come from recommendations from people who exhibited last year. We have the confidence that we can take this event up another level this year.”
And Night Master’s Tony Jones added: “Being a predominantly indoor venue with 24-hour security, the Doncaster Racecourse is a dream for many traders, who can leave stock on their stands and enjoy the evenings.
“For Night Master the SYGF was a total success. For Richard Brook to create such a polished event, which focused on the traders as much as the visitors, was impressive.”
Phil Ogden of Ogden’s Shooting Supplies, who exhibited in 2014, said: “The last show of the year for me turned out to be one of the most organised and well run events I’ve done in several years.
“On arrival I saw the potential of the layout and venue after doing other indoor shows – plenty of space, heated, clean and food readily available and well-priced. Parking was excellent – on the actual show days the attendance was very consistent and we were busy on both days.
“This show has the potential to become a large, popular end-of-year event.”
