The CLA Game Fair have announced it will offer three days of gundog and working dog competitions and demonstrations once again this coming July.
The Game Fair, held between Friday 18th and Sunday 20th July at Blenheim Palace, will repeat the favoured gundog attractions. The competitions will include: the Euro Challenge for retrievers, the Home International Team Challenge for spaniels and retrievers, and the CLA Gundog of the Year. The winning handler of the final competition will receive the Sir John Ruggles-Brise Trophy, and the use of a Mitsubish L200 Warrior for a year. Other competitions include the Open and Novice Scurry, the Pick-Up and the Scramble.
In addition, various demonstrations will be taking place throughout the weekend, with favourites such as the Working Dog Ring, including displays from Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. The Sporting Dog Pavillion is very popular every year, and features some 35 different breeds of working dogs.
