Our regular roundup of new shooting products destined to hit the shelves soon, including some that never got announced at IWA.
Rizzini ‘Regal Extra’
First in the list of new shooting products for 2020 is one of the more recent offerings from the Rizzini stable. Based on the elegant ‘Regal’ action, this model is enhanced with stunning Grade 4 walnut and is engraved with real relief engraving, depicting partridges on one lock plate and grouse on the other, with an option of pheasants in flight as well.
The secret to Rizzini’s beauty is that the engraving is all hand finished, giving it true depth and relief. In common with the rest of Rizzini’s range of game guns, the Regal Extra is available in 12, 16, 20, 28 and .410 gauges with a choice of barrel lengths and a solid rib at no extra cost.

Hornady Precision Hunter
More ammunition to suit the growing number of long-range hunters here, though the ‘gimmick’ with the Hornady Precision Hunters is that they’re kind of two bullets in one, one that reacts well to high-velocity impacts at low ranges, and one that also knows to spread for high-range, low-velocity impacts causing maximum damage at both range sets while keeping accurate across both.
So what you have here is a bullet that will expand/mushroom at extended range (low velocity) and not over-expand or blow up at conventional (high velocity) range.
The key to this is the Heat Shield Tip, which thanks to its construction from polymers with a high heat threshold keeps its shape better than a conventional tip across the whole flight, so that short range velocity does not come at the expense of high range accuracy.
The Precision Hunter comes in a large variety of sizes from .243 all the way up to a very meaty 38 magnum round.

Lee Enfield Sentry
Having enjoyed considerable success with their airgun replica Lee Enfield SMLE Rifle (soon to be followed by a Lee Enfield .380 and an AK-74), Lee Enfield (Guns) Ltd and their exclusive UK distributors The Shooting Party have decided to branch out, and instead of recreating iconic guns of yore, have instead come up with something new – this extraordinary-looking Lee Enfield ‘Sentry’. It comes in .22 and .177 flavours.
The forestock is constructed from ballistic polymer and a thumb-hole buttstock, with an adjustable cheek piece, and the stock is made from european beech. The rifle has a fully regulated action that delivers a high number of very consistent shots, 120+ in .22 and 75+ in .177 at 11.5fpe energy from a single fill.
The Sentry has a precision-rifled steel barrel which is terminated with a removable ½in UNF threaded silencer. Scope and accessory mounting options are varied and plentiful, with an 11mm scope dovetail positioned over the action and no less than six 22mm Weaver/Picatinny mounting points – three over the barrel; two on either side of, and one under, the forestock, providing perfect flexibility to add lights, lasers and a bipod to the shooter’s rig.
Each rifle is supplied with a filler probe, two magazines (9-shot in .177, 8-shot in .22), a single-shot tray and a set of ‘in-life’ spare seals and ‘O’ rings. Other features include a fill-pressure gauge located in the end of the air cylinder; a metal trigger blade and a manual slide-style safety built into the trigger guard.

Images can be live streamed using the ZEISS hunting app and shared with your fellow hunters on the fly. With a battery life of seven hours promised, and coming in at a not-too-hefty 450 grams, this smart piece of kit may be finding its way into several backpacks when it’s introduced this autumn.
