Gun Trade News understands that Chief Operating Officer Nigel Stuart has handed in his resignation at Holland & Holland after three years in post.

Stuart, whose background was in luxury yachting, was brought in by owners Beretta Group to revive the flagging fortunes of Holland & Holland. Stuart oversaw the closure of the iconic London gunshop and the relocation of retail to H&H’s shooting grounds in an attempt to reduce costs and increase profitability.
