The Seek Thermal Compact PRO is designed to plug in to most smartphones, converting them into a handheld thermal imaging device. Coupled with the free Seek Thermal app, it brings thermal imagery to a whole new platform – and with a 32-degree field of view and operation down to -40 degrees C, it’s not shy of performance either. Though not designed to replace the functionality of ‘proper’ thermal units, it does state a man-sized detection range of 550 metres.
