Shooting enthustiast, Martin Millichamp, has been raising money for the last 15 seasons to donate to the lifesaving Midland Air Ambulance Charity. During the most recent season, from November 2017 to February 2018, Martin has raised over £330, by providing raffles at each shoot, buying the prizes out of his own pocket.

He also made Silvington Shoot calendars to sell at his events. Martin, who lives in Silvingdon, said: “I just want to raise awareness of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, as anyone could need their help at any time, especially around here in rural areas.

Many people fail to realise that Midlands Air Ambulance Charity receives no Government funding, and I’d love to see other shoots around the area raising funds – every penny will help to save a life.”
