The ATN X-Sight is a state-of-the-art digital day and night scope, and the new 4K Pro model has been almost totally revamped from its predecessors. The appearance is the first thing you’ll notice – it has been slimmed down more the resemble traditional glass. And the eye relief is now far closer to what you’d get on a daytime optic, at a very manageable 90mm. So it’s really not just any NV unit but an all-round optic.
It has a recording feature to save live shooting action to micro SD card and can stream to iOS and Android phones. Other technical wizardry includes 3D gyroscope, 3D accelerometer, electronic compass, and e-barometer. It even boast a rangefinder function and a ballistic calculator to automatically shift the point of aim to compensate for wind and range.
Despite its high-tech features the 4K Pro is easy to use in its 3-14x and 5-20 x variants, which weigh 940g and 1010g respectively, and battery life has been extended too – 18 hours according to the manufacturer.
