Even more leading lines on the stalking product market

Last week we brought you a round-up of the leading lines for a successful day of stalking, well now we’re back with more!

Aigle Parcours 2 Outlast

Handcrafted in France from Gomma Plus natural rubber for that durable yet soft and flexible feel, these boots also feature a full Outlast lining.

Not only does this regulate the temperature of the feet and calves, the Outlast material absorbs excess body heat and releases it when temperatures really drop, making them the ideal choice for stationary hunting.

An absorbent foam covered Softex insole, combined with a tri-density rubber outsole, offers optimum comfort and support, and the anti-fatigue dampening cushion in the heel acts as a return spring and resituates energy to allow the wearer to walk further for longer.

Aigle Huntino

Authentic and modern, the Huntino has been constructed from silent and durable, suede-like material, making this a reliable option for the field. Featuring a diamond-quilted lining for warmth, an adjustable hood that can be folded away in to the collar and a fully waterproof, breathable membrane, it guarantees optimum protection.

This highly practical jacket features an abundance of features, including a double-entry zipped game bag pocket at the back of the jacket. Four outer pockets, including two zipped chest pockets, and two zipped inner security pockets provide a wealth of space to carry the essentials.

Apex Tree Hugger

Guidelines and current ‘best practice’ now endorse and recommend a suspended gralloch where at all possible. The Apex Autoclick has already proven popular for use on the back of an SUV, but it is not always possible to get a pickup to the shot location, and you’ll need to do it on the spot.

Usually this involves hunting for a suitable horizontal branch and hoping that it doesn’t break, but the lightweight Tree Hugger kit gets around that problem, enabling a suspended gralloch anywhere.

The kit contains a hi-vis 2m strap, specially made from cros-weave webbing, making it non-slip, self-gripping and very strong. Two strong s-hooks and two pairs of disposable gloves are also part of the kit.

Simply locate a suitable tree with a diameter between 25cm and 100cm, then wrap the strap around, hock the animal and hang it one leg at a time.

Buck Knife Range

The Buck 110 Folding Hunter Slim Select (pictured top) is a modern twist on the 110. The new slim version possesses the same traditional features of the well-built 110 Folding Hunter but sports a more modern look. The deep carry pocket clip allows for quick and easy access in any situation and the thumbstud allows for one hand opening.

Using the same famous steel, the heavy bolster and handles were replaced with a lightweight moulded nylon to reduce weight while maintaining the same quality and rigidity.

Meanwhile, the Buck Open Season Skinner (pictured bottom) is made from quality materials, part of a series that’s offered with a 420HC steel blade and contoured red wood handles.

The Skinner features a drop point, 4.5″ blade with a large choil for a secure grip and finished with Buck’s advanced Edge2x blade technology for unbelievable sharpness and blade retention out of the box. Comes with a black polyester sheath.
