Claire West, head of Air Arms. has given an impassioned defence of her company’s recent performance on the Airgun World podcast. Fans of iconic brand Air Arms have been vocal in recent months, expressing their concern at her leadership and the direction of the company.

Claire told listeners to the podcast that while they may not like the new logo, there were good reasons for the change.

She also reassured listeners that Air Arms ‘partnership’ deal with Precihole Arms in India did not mean that the company would be outsourcing any of the production work on their current range of rifles, which she said would all continue to be made in the UK.

Claire also touched on the new Air Arms distribution model (revealed in GTN in June) which is now direct to dealers and reiterated that she felt that it offered the best deals for its customers.
