BASC have announced that they will sponsor The Great British Shooting Awards as a Ceremony Partner.

The UK’s leading shooting and conservation group will sponsor the ceremony as well as the Gamekeeper of the Year award.

With over 155,000 members, BASC – or the British Association of Shooting and Conservation – stands as the UK’s leading organisation to raise awareness for and to promote shooting sports and conservation not just in the UK but abroad also.

BASC said it is “delighted to be sponsoring the 2020 Great British Shooting Awards.”

They continued: “The industry is brimming with businesses and individuals going the extra mile to strengthen shooting’s future. With over 1000 Trade Members, BASC is the forefront of promote those involved in shooting. These Awards are the perfect platform to celebrate and reward the best of the lot.

“BASC is especially pleased to sponsor the gamekeeping section of these awards. 2020 is the Year of the Gamekeeper which is raising awareness for gamekeepers and their families; what they do, how they support the British countryside and the role they play in conservation.

“Led by the Gamekeepers Welfare Trust (GWT), BASC will be attempting to fundraise £220,000 by the end of 2020. This funding provides support to gamekeepers, stalkers, ghillies and their families in times of hardship, ill health and retirement.”
