GMK have announced the return of two shotgun championships in association with Benelli and Beretta and sponsored by the Great British Shooting Show.

On 18 May the Benelli Sp’Auto Championships will be held at Atkin, Grant & Lang shooting ground in Hertfordshire. Set within picturesque woodland, the ground boasts a range of different stands, including high towers and a purpose-built grouse butt. The course comprises of 120 targets and is exclusive to Beretta, Benelli and Franchi semi-automatics.

The Sp’Auto allows full use of the auto’s three shot facility and stands are presented as either (a) three targets on the call of “pull” or (b) two targets with full use of the gun. Some targets may be presented as pairs while others will be on report. The Beretta World Sporting Championships 2019 also returns, held at the Holywell Estate, Hampshire, from 28-30 June 2019.

For almost 30 years the Beretta World has regularly attracted over 1,000 entries, and following feedback from competitors 2019’s event will endeavour to be more compact and challenging than ever. Returning to the 15-stand format, with 120 targets being shot over two courses – one of seven and one of eight – the event has reverted to the most popular and efficient way of managing such a high volume of competitors.

Once again there will be a huge array of prizes provided by the sponsors with more details set to be published closer to the event. Shooters can enter the Benelli SP’AUTO and Beretta World Championships online now.
