Steve Faragher is the new editor of Gun Trade News.
Taking over from industry stalwart Colin Fallon, Steve has a long history in specialist and trade magazines. He has worked for Future Publishing on and off for 30 years across a range of titles including the NRA Journal and NSRA On Target magazines.
He has launched three publishing businesses including Bristol book specialist Tangent Books, worked for Californian book publisher Prima, and his writing has been widely published in newspapers as diverse as The Sun and The Guardian.
“This is a great time for the fieldsports industry, and I look forward to helping it to remain profitable, innovative and relevant as we move forwards,” said Steve.
“I’ve got big boots to fill, but I’ve got a few new ideas of my own that will gently shape the future for Gun Trade News, and hopefully make it an even more essential part of your monthly news intake. And I’d love to hear from you, our readers.
“Tell me what you love about our output and what you think we could do better, or just introduce yourself and your business. Drop me a line to steve.faragher@futurenet.com.”
Gun Trade News’s highly-regarded Deputy Editor Ollie Harvey is remaining on hand to help guide the transition, with a new title of Consultant Editor for Gun Trade News.
