Complimentary entry for youngsters at the Northern Shooting Show courtesy of BASC.
Courtesy of BASC, visitors to this year’s Northern Shooting Show who are aged 15-years-old and younger will get complimentary entry alongside a fee-paying adult.
The show will be held at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate on 8and 9 May 2020.
BASC North officer Murray Woodward said: “BASC understands the importance of creating opportunities for the next generation of shooters. This is the third year that the association has organised these complimentary tickets to showcase shooting in the north of England.”
“The Northern Shooting Show has become one of the highlights of the BASC North calendar with the vibrant show highlighting all the benefits of the shooting community.
There is something for everybody, from novices to experienced shooters. We are delighted to be working with the show to enable complimentary entry for youngsters, giving them an opportunity to experience everything on offer throughout the weekend.
“If taking advantage of the deal, be sure to visit the BASC stand and enter one of our Young Shots competitions and find out about BASC’s Young Shots events across the region.
“You might also want to check out the show website and social media for more details of the Passport to Shooting scheme.
This means that accompanied youngsters can try out a full range of shooting activities for just £5.”
There will again be a large BASC presence at the show with a membership stand featuring Sir Johnny Scott, plus a deer focus stand with head measuring, a ‘Taste of Game’ cookery demonstration kitchen and, in partnership with AimCam, BASC’s state-of-the-art shooting simulator.
The show will also host a qualifying event for the final of the BASC scurry league, sponsored by Skinner’s Field & Trial.
