Gunmaker and high-end retailer William Evans is advertising for a person to assist in sales at the gun room at its Bisley location.
In business since 1883, William Evans operates two retail premises – one at Bisley and one in central London – and enjoys a reputation as a fine gunmaker and leading brand in the shooting industry.
Applicants to the gunroom vacancy must have considerable experience with rifles and shotguns, and a good general knowledge of the retail gun trade. Though applicants should be conversant in all forms of the shooting sports, proficiency with a rifle and experience of deer stalking is particularly critical for this role. Experience with optics would also be an advantage.
The shop is open seven days a week and weekend working is essential. Salary is negotiable depending upon experience.
