“Internal employment issues” under investigation at BASC

BASC-logo-copyThe British Association for Shooting and Conservation has admitted it is investigating “certain internal employment issues” but denied any of its staff have been escorted from the premises.

The UK’s largest shooting organisation has moved quickly to douse the flames of controversy, making a statement this morning that said: “Contrary to gossip and speculation, nobody has been escorted from Marford Mill by the police and nobody has been arrested on grounds of fraud.

“BASC will make a further statement once proper process has been followed and completed.”

A BASC spokesperson stressed that the organisation’s work protecting and promoting the shooting sports would continue as it always has.
