Optics maker Leupold has made the jump into thermal imaging with this extremely affordable, handheld spotting unit. Boasting a 600-metre maximum range, it’ll function for foxing out to just over 100 metres. Distributor Viking Arms says it’s ideal as a tracking thermal, for following up blood trails on shot quarry. It’s got adjustable magnification up to 6x, while the user can switch between six colour profiles at the touch of a button. The screen refresh rate is 30Hz, so it’s not likely to miss much.
