New shooting products for July 2020

Weather is sweet. Time to get out there. It looks like a bumper month for new products as the post Covid floodgates finally open, so here are some new shooting products for July 2020

Sig Sauer Cross

Designed and built from the ground up at the Sig Sauer research and development facilities in New Hampshire with the input of hunters, military snipers and elite long-range shooters, the Cross rifle was created to meet the demands of both precision long-range shooting and extreme backcountry hunting.

Weighing under 6.5lbs, the Cross is the lightest, most portable rifle in its class (up to 40 per cent lighter). It also features full adjustable and folding precision-style SIG stock, 2-stage match trigger, one-piece aluminium receiver for increased accuracy.

Available in .308 / 277 SIG FURY with a 16” barrel (collapsible to 25”) or in 6.5 Creedmoor with an 18” barrel (collapsible to 27”) Designed and built in the USA the Cross is also vailable in Black and First Lite Cipher.

Pulsar Digisight Ultra LRF N450

The Digisight Ultra LRF N450 takes all of the features of the popular Digisight Ultra N450 and ads a 1000m laser rangefinder to it. The 1000m laser rangefinder is accurate to +/- 1m and can be used in either Single Measurement Mode (press the button and take a measurement) or Scan Mode (constant measurements wherever the rangefinder is pointed).

The compact and robust bodyshell is fully waterproof (IPX7). A highly sensitive HD-sensor 1280×720 CMOS sensor and a 1024×768 AMOLED HD frost-proof display result in excellent night time performance and that is capable of detecting up to 550m.

This new model has a native magnification of 4.5x and the 4.0x smooth digital zoom provides a total magnification of 18.0x. 2x and 4x fast zoom options are also available. Being Stream Vision compatible the unit has built-in video & sound recording.

S&W Military & Police Pistol

The M&P9 M2.0 is the latest release in the hugely popular M&P range from Smith & Wesson. Umarex have produced a new, fully-licensed Co2 reproduction which will have huge appeal to the collector and airgun enthusiast. The S&W M&P9 M2.0 by Umarex fires steel BBs with a magazine capacity of 18 rounds, which is housed in the drop-out mag complete with the 12g Co2 bulb.

It features a realistic blowback action and has a single and double action trigger. Like the original pistol, there’s a picatinny rail for accessories, as well as the ability to change the backstrap. A medium is included with the pistol, with a full set of three sizes available to purchase separately.
